What it is

inchatgames is run by [OPERATOR] (“we”). It offers free word games, starting with Tangle, on inchatgames.com, as a ChatGPT plugin, a Claude connector, a Slack app and a Claude artifact.

There are no accounts and nothing to pay for. By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't play.

Playing fair

• Don't cheat: no made-up scores sent to the API, and no scripts playing for you.
• Don't flood the site with requests, or try to break it or get around its limits.
• Pick a nickname that isn't offensive. The game filters some words, and we may remove any name or score from a leaderboard.

What others see

Your nickname and score show on leaderboards that other players see. A challenge link carries the board, your score and the name you entered, so anyone the link reaches can see them too. Don't put anything in a nickname that you want to keep private.

In ChatGPT, Claude and Slack

When you play there, that service's own terms apply as well as these. We don't run or control those services.

As is

The games are provided as they are, with no warranty of any kind. They may have bugs, and they may change or stop at any time. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage from using them.

Who owns what

Tangle's name, its design and the site's code belong to us. The word list comes from SCOWL and keeps its own license.

Privacy

What the site keeps and what it sends is in our privacy policy.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and playing after that means you accept the new terms.
